Chris Harrison Instagram – For most of my life, I have lived in a state of hiding and burying emotions that are tied to sadness, thinking that expressing them showed weakness. In the last couple of years, I have slowly learned how unhealthy that is. This is something to which I have committed a lot of energy, time, and space to work through. And I still am, as even posting this definitely still has me feeling an ounce or two of embarrassment (hence a smiling cover photo of course haha). Through that unnecessary shame I have learned that doing the work and stepping in has truly allowed me to grow in ways I never thought imaginable. Still a work in process. A big thank you to Chris for providing me a comfortable space to express and feel while still protecting two good friends of his.
