Dan Crenshaw Instagram – Things that are true:
– The cartels are killing Americans
– The cartels are killing Mexicans
– It should be a mutual goal between Mexico and the U.S. to take the cartels out

What’s not being talked about enough is how the cartels are benefitting from Biden’s border crisis. With a record breaking crisis, the cartels are making record breaking money. In 2021 alone, the cartels made over 13 billion dollars just from human smuggling. Imagine what they’re making now, with 27,000 crossings in just 48 hours.

In the next few days the Biden admin will travel to Mexico to meet with AMLO about “additional enforcement actions” to slow the migration influx at the southern border. All this will be is a photo op and topline discussions — what we need is real action. Pass the damn border reforms, enforce the laws that already exists. Real solutions exist, and the longer we take to act on them, the more power we’re giving to the cartels.

Dan Crenshaw Instagram – Strong deterrence has never started WW3. Just in recent years we’ve targeted Soleimani, armed Ukraine and reinforced NATO’s Eastern flank against Russia, armed Taiwan to defend itself against China… No WW3.

But isolationists on the left and right still like to argue that deterrence will lead to war if we’re too aggressive. So let’s look at the inverse… What happens when we don’t establish strong deterrence? Americans get killed. That right there is incentive enough to always strike harder.

There’s always going to be a risk assessment when we respond to foreign adversaries. My advice: choose a response that makes you just a little uncomfortable. When you do this, you choose a disproportionate response. You’re choosing to hit harder than they hit us. That’s the only way to establish deterrence when we’re dealing with countries like Iran. We always need to hit harder, faster, stronger.

Iran is scared right now — that’s good. We need to use that to our advantage with our response. Biden has waited way too long to react. That’s a huge problem. He should take my advice and deliver a strategic, forceful response. Anything else is a failure on his part, and we ultimately suffer in the long run.
