DARYL GURNEY 9️⃣-🔟Nathan Aspinall
Agony for Daryl, but he can be proud of his efforts this weekend.
Aspinall stopped the rot to trail 8-7, and a 98 and 68 finishes moved him 9-8 ahead.
Daryl forced a final leg, kicking off with a 180, but Aspinall pinned double five to advance.

DARYL GURNEY 6️⃣-4️⃣ Joe Cullen
A great session for Superchin!
A 14-darter levelled the contest at 3-3 for Daryl, and he pinned double 16 to break and hit the front, before a 52 finish made it 5-3.
Double 16 again served Daryl well as he broke once more, but Cullen won the last leg of the session to stay in the contest.
Absolutely over the moon to come through today, and to beat a great player and friend in Joe.
I’m determined to make the most of this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to taking on Nathan tomorrow afternoon.

Daryl halted a two-leg losing streak to lead 7-5, and a 72 finish kept his buffer at 8-6.
Superchin nailed double 18 for 9-7, and retained his two-leg cushion to see the match off, hitting double nine to make the last eight.

I play Nathan Aspinall in the second quarter final, which should start around 2pm.

Daryl secured a break of throw on tops to trail 6-5, and pounced on nine missed doubles from ‘The Asp’ to level.
Aspinall’s double woes continued as Superchin hit the front, and a 100 finish made it 8-6.
