I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and express my gratitude for being a part of this great country. The image of the American flag serves as a constant reminder of the blessings and opportunities that have come my way since I made the decision to leave France and start a new life here. I often think about how different my life would have been if I had stayed in France. It is through the welcoming embrace of America that I found an even deeper passion for dance and a career that I could have never imagined elsewhere. The Joffrey Ballet, founded by Gerald Arpino and Robert Joffrey, provided me with a future in dance, and since then, I have continued to open doors and explore new opportunities that I know would not have been possible anywhere else but in this remarkable country. On this day, let us all celebrate the American dream and the countless possibilities it offers. May we continue to cherish the values of freedom, opportunity, and unity that make this nation truly special.
