Hans Zimmer Instagram – This week’s #HansZimmerLive Meet the Band is focused on the one, the only @lisagerrardvoice 💛 Lisa and I have been collaborating for nearly 25 years and she’s been innovating since she was a young girl. Lisa founded the band Dead Can Dance, and when Ridley Scott, Pietro Scalia and I were searching for the female soul for #Gladiator, we listened to her album. She immediately became the first choice on our list! Lisa was on the fence about being part of it, so we sent her a copy of the movie in Australia (how crazy is that!) and she agreed to do it. Now you can’t think about Gladiator without hearing Lisa’s iconic voice, and when she tours with @hanszimmerlive there’s nothing like hearing her angelic voice in person!
