In a time where skirt lengths were policed, Trudy, a plucky teenager from New York, set out to do the impossible – changing the course of women’s sports forever. Here are the books that got me through the latest shutdown. It’s eclectic and nonfiction. And I often wondered why that is. I’m dyslexic and therefore not a strong reader and maybe that’s why I find it easier to get through a biopic – in a field that I know (ie film & music). My other (scientific) theory is that I just love nerding out🤓 There’s some good ones in that pile if you’re looking for a holiday read. Come next week, production fires back up – and it’s all fiction for a while!🥏
