I have been meaning to post this for a while but because of the SAG strike I could not. I had the great pleasure of traveling in and around Rome with my old friend @bigbaldhead on his show #ride on @amc_tv. We visited Civita di Bagnoregio, a breathtaking 2500 year old Etruscan village which is eroding off the top of a hillside. A girl biker gang gave us a tour of Rome and best of all Norman and I had a chance to have some beers and catch up for the first time in many years. I sure am proud of him and all he keeps accomplishing, and had a flaming ball appearing on his show. ❤️

So sad to hear the great Shane MacGowan has passed. The Pogues got me thru a lot of tough times and made the good times that much better. Shane was completely mad, a true poet and he will be sorely missed. They play Fairytale of New York a lot this time of year, and it will sting a little bit when they do. This pic is from 2004 when I got to see him play a small pub in London. We talked for a minute or two and I could not understand one word he said. But he prolly said the same about me too. That’s alright as I had that moment with him and we have his music and that’s damn well enough for me. R.I.P. Shane MacGowan. ❤️☘️🍺

Attended the 20th anniversary of the greatest comedy of all time #windycityheat in Westwood last night. Ran into my old friend @perrycaravello and he insisted I try on his hat. Anyway if you haven’t seen Windy City Heat do yourself a favor and check it out. It’s mind blowing.

Flashback Friday to 1992 when I appeared as an Oscar statue and a Cure fan on the Ben Stiller show. I got paid $40 a day as a non-union extra but it was a thrill working in the shadows with legends like @benstiller, @therealbobodenkirk, @juddapatow, and Janeane Garofalo. I was struck by not only their talent but also how nice they were. So down to earth, no pretense. And unlike alot of other shows I had worked on as an extra, they made you feel like you belonged there. And for a 21 year old kid with zero credits, social anxiety and suspect self confidence it made me think that maybe one day I could actually belong there. Or belong somewhere. That meant alot to me then, and even more to me now.
