Exposures — Buy Now (link in bio)
These are ours, Greig Fraser’s and mine. His photographs. My words. They were prompted by a love of people and process, and they are the direct result of Tonya LaPoint (Dune: Parts 1 & 2 Producer) one day presenting and pushing the idea that Greig and I should come together and create a book.
As messy, artistic, and raw as the photos are are as messy, fun and sensorial as I hope the words that accompany them are.
As I was going through Christiane Kubrick’s compilation of Stanley’s photos in A LIFE IN PICTURES I felt a kinship to the sensibility of what it is to not be subservient to a construct dictated by a business that is as fickle as lettuce staying fresh in the open air about what sells and what doesn’t. Reveal, truth, bravery, and inclusion sells. At least that’s what I buy into:
those moments when you privvy to a creative expression captured that revels the human again and again and reminds us that the act is special and we are not much more than our best (or worst) animals.
Here are experiences and moments of the quiet and personal and inspired and astute and communal and embarrassed and proud and free celebrated as we together navigated the sands and sets of the unprecedented world of Frank Herbert and Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy it.

READING STEINBECK (Part 3 of 3)
Reading exploded me out of a reality that only dictated limitations. Words well slung catapulted me into behaviors, expressions, reactions and worlds where possibilities flourished and people’s lives were lived in technicolor. Ultimately, great writing (here displayed by John Steinbeck) still, even posthumously, reveals and congregates. My friends have done me the great favor of helping to remind us that the American written word is still alive and that by reading we can revert back to a greatness that lived through it: compassion. Myriad scenarios depicted to mirror what we most need to see. My gratitude for these readers, my sweet friends, is immeasurable. 🙏❤️
