King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – The Princess Royal has visited Off the Streets, a group in Northamptonshire on a mission to eradicate knife crime in their local community.

@Off_the_Streets_NN was founded in August 2021 following the tragic killing of 16-year-old Dylan Holliday, due to knife crime.

Since its formation, the group have placed 203 Bleed Kits (medical kits specifically designed to treat stab wounds) across Northamptonshire, with 4 already being used to save lives in emergency situations.

The organisation has also distributed 13 Amnesty Bins across the county, allowing 3,000 knifes to be discarded safely.

During the visit, Her Royal Highness met volunteers and supporters before handing out certificates to those who have completed critical bleed control training courses.
King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – 🌊 Yesterday, The Princess Royal visited volunteers at the National Coastwatch station at the Hengistbury Head in Dorset. As Royal Patron of @nationalcoastwatchinstitution, Her Royal Highness celebrated the charity’s 30th anniversary of helping to save lives around the coast.

All 2,700 @nationalcoastwatchinstitution volunteer watchkeepers work to keep people safe and save lives along the coast, monitoring radio channels, providing a listening watch in poor visibility and alerting @maritimecoastguard when people get into trouble.
