Lawrence Gilliard Jr. Instagram – “They”…call me a “character actor!” Short/Long story. When I got my very 1st headshot taken, I took it to the law firm where I was working as a mailroom clerk and secretly printed 40, bad, black and white copies on basic printer paper. On 20 of them, I used a sharpie to draw different facial haircuts. Beards, mustaches, etc. I taped the pictures side by side across the top of my bedroom wall and every morning I’d wake up, look at them and say, “That’s what I want to do.
