Whoever said “never meet your heroes” obviously had the wrong heroes. This clip is from the time @minotauromma invited me to train with him on Fight Island. To say I was excited is a huge understatement. So we set a timer and started rolling. We started clocking a lot of rounds and fatigue started to set in. I was gassing out, the room was a sauna at that point, I started getting my ass kicked and I was ready to be done. He wouldn’t allow it, he wouldn’t even give me a break between rounds once he could sense I was ready to quit. He pushed me hard that day, it was perfect. Hands down, it was my favorite training session I’ve ever had in my life. I miss Fight Island! Cheers to one of my heroes, the legend, my friend Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Last weekend I had an amazing experience with the @selkirkpowder team. Getting to explore the backcountry of my home mountains with a world class staff to ensure our safety while making sure we get to ride some really fun terrain at the same time was so great. I can’t thank Ken and the rest of the Selkirk Powder Guides team enough for taking me out on my first cat skiing trip.
