i started HELEN GARNER’s novel THE CHILDREN’S BACH yesterday in the late afternoon and could not stop till I reached the last page a few hours later. This book had me hypnotized throughout. It is a very unique work in structure and composition, which seems very simple but is ultimately very profound. Her honesty and astute knowledge of being human is breathtaking as are many of her sentences. I want to read everything she’s written. @pantheonbooks
