Rachel Zoe Instagram – My beautiful bravest Michelle. From the day I met you on a shoot forever ago, I realized you were different from anyone I met in the industry or in my life. A girl from Kansas and beyond beautiful, not entitled, cool, witty, honest, fearless and a total badass in how you approached your work and anything you took on. Straightforward and kind and as real as they come. No doubt we were always a very unlikely pairing of best friends from opposite backgrounds but somehow it made total sense and we deeply connected from the beginning. Everything about you was my favorite and anyone I introduced you to in my life was obsessed with you just like I have always been. Well, as it turns out your fearlessness really served you, because when you got diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer almost 4 1/2 years ago, you listened to no one with a short timeline on your life and forged your own path and fight to show us all how it’s done. You kept a sense of humor somehow in the darkest of days alone in treatment during Covid, when I know I would have surrendered. You stayed strong for those beautiful babies that will always remember their Mommy as the most loving courageous warrior just like I will. My angel Michelle I have loved you from hello and will always hold you in my heart and in my mind like the first and last photos here. Eating pasta on our girls nights at Il Sole or almost getting you to dance after way too many drinks. I made sure to put your favorite picture of us first because that was the hair you loved most on me and we did that for your wedding hair. I love you forever and ever and always my beautiful Michelle. Now fly and rest with the angels above and boss them around like I know you will. I know you have braids in your hair like our picture and a beautiful gold halo on top. I love you, I love you, I love you my Michelle. 🤍🪽🕊️ #fuckcancer
