Ronan Donovan Instagram – Did you know that a wolf’s howl can travel up to 10 miles over a vast landscape like Ellesmere Island? 🐺

As you’ll learn (and hear) while walking through the @NatGeoMuseum and @wildlifeartjh exhibition, “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan”, wolves are highly social creatures and howling is one of their primary forms of communication!

A howl can have many meanings. For instance, a wolf may howl as a warning to a rival pack. It may also howl to share its location or to show affection to its fellow pack members!

With only ONE MONTH before this remarkable travelling exhibition leaves the High Desert Museum, now is the time to check out the “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan”exhibition and learn more about the lesser-known lives of wild wolves. We hope to see you soon!
