Ronan Donovan Instagram – Looking at extraordinary images like this inside the “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan” exhibition, you might wonder… how did he get the shot?! 📸

While there were numerous factors at play, it was ultimately Donovan’s camera trap that captured this photo! He explains that “the goal of a camera trap is to give viewers an intimate look at the wildlife they couldn’t get any other way.”

Experience some of the incredible photographs Donovan captured using camera traps by visiting the @natgeomuseum and @wildlifeartjh exhibition “Wolves: Photography by Ronan Donovan” – open at the Museum until February 11, 2024!

Ronan Donovan Instagram – With snow on the ground, it’s finally winter tracking season again! Every footfall and can be read on fresh snow and there’s always a new story waiting to unfold in front of those who decide to follow. So get out there and follow some tracks this winter! If you’re new to the craft, start small with the animals around your home or in a park. If you see a squirrel or rabbit running across the snow, go check out their tracks and learn the patterns. There are also plenty of books out there to help learning the basics. And if you’re in an area that doesn’t get snow, mud can work just as well.
