Те, що відбувається на нашому західному кордоні – кордоні з Польщею, – не можна сприймати як щось нормальне чи буденне. Потрібна проста й зрозуміла справедливість. Через польський кордон проходить лише 5% нашого агроекспорту. Тож насправді ситуація не в зерні, а, скоріше, в політиці. І під Куп’янськом, неподалік від кордону з Росією, де не стихає ворожа артилерія, новини з кордону з Польщею виглядають просто знущально. Потрібні спільні рішення, раціональні рішення, щоб вийти з цієї ситуації. Рішення наші з поляками передусім та всіх у Європі, кого турбує доля Європи.

Ten years ago they attempted to kill Ukrainians in their own country, in their own capital, simply for their peaceful choice to be themselves and to be free.
It has been ten years since attempts to destroy us and our independence. The unarmed Heavenly Hundred faced bullets. Now these are missiles, drones, and armies.
But we stood firm ten years ago and continue to do so today.
The hundred and hundreds—heavenly and living defenders of our right to life. We are grateful to each of them for everything. We will withstand together. 🇺🇦

I visited one of the medical facilities where our warriors are treated after being wounded, met with the defenders and medical workers, and presented them with state awards.
I am grateful for everything they have done and continue to do. I wish them recovery and victory. I am also grateful to our medics. They are saving the warriors and they are the pride of our country.

Вдячність усім нашим воїнам, усім, хто працює на оборону, усім, хто допомагає. Цього тижня всі небайдужі серця – і не лише в Україні – переживали про наших героїв, про нашу Авдіївку, про кожного її оборонця та про долю всіх наших людей, про долю всієї держави.
Битва продовжується, головне – у цій битві ми робимо все можливе й неможливе, щоб здолати російське зло і захистити якнайбільше українських життів. Українці не вперше б’ються героїчно, але вперше у своїй історії Україна досягла такої світової солідарності і підтримки. І хоч бувають різні політичні настрої у світі, різні спалахи проблем, які розосереджують увагу, ми все одно – усі разом – робимо максимум, щоб світ був із нами – з Україною. На Мюнхенській конференції з питань безпеки поговорив телефоном із Президентом США Джозефом Байденом.
Обговорили поточну ситуацію на полі бою. Я радий, що можу розраховувати на повну підтримку американського Президента. Віримо й у мудре рішення Конгресу США.
Підтримка України – це підтримка демократії та свободи. Ми повинні разом захистити ці цінності. Домовилися підтримувати контакт у звʼязку з наближенням 2-х роковин початку повномасштабного вторгнення.

We discussed the current frontline situation. I am grateful to have President Biden’s full support. I also believe that the US Congress will make a wise decision.
Supporting Ukraine means supporting democracy and freedom. Together, we must protect these values. We agreed to stay in touch as Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine approaches the two-year mark.
Gratitude to all our soldiers, all those working in defense, and all those who are helping. This week, the hearts of all those who care – not only in Ukraine – have experienced feelings of concern for our heroes, for our Avdiivka, for every defender, and for the fate of all our people, for the fate of our entire state.
The battle continues, and the main thing in this battle is that we are doing everything possible and impossible to defeat the Russian evil and protect as many Ukrainian lives as possible. Ukrainians have fought heroically before, but for the first time in its history, Ukraine has achieved such global solidarity and support. And although there are different political sentiments in the world, different flashes of problems that distract attention, we still – all together – do our utmost to have the world with us – with Ukraine. Therefore, so that our soldiers can stop the Russian inhumanity and return what is Ukrainian to Ukraine. I thank everyone who fights, who helps, who maintains resilience and determination.
We must continue to be resilient, we must continue to be determined. We must achieve our Ukrainian goals in this war.

On behalf of all Ukrainians and all of Ukraine, I thank them for doing such an outstanding job every day, defending our country, our families, independence, and sovereignty.
Немає такого злочину проти людяності й життя, який би ще не скоїла путінська Росія й ті, хто працює на її божевільного диктатора.
Світ бачив спалені російською армією українські міста й села. Кожен у світі принаймні чув про масові вбивства, які неминуче йдуть за російським триколором по окупованій території.
Неможливо змиритися з болем сімей, які були розділені путінською війною та депортацією українських дітей. Ми також не повинні забувати про мільйони українців, які виживають під російською окупацією, позбавлені навіть елементарних людських прав.
Хай на шляху правосуддя не буде перешкод! Так само як нацизм, має бути засуджена й путінська держава. Я закликаю всіх, хто має змогу прискорити настання реального миру.
Сказав це, звертаючись до учасників слухання Гельсінської комісії США на тему «Притягнення Росії до відповідальності за воєнні злочини проти України: Уроки Нюрнберга». Засідання відбулося в історичному місці – аудиторії № 600, де відбувалося слухання щодо притягнення до відповідальності нацистських злочинців.

There is no crime against humanity and life that Putin’s Russia and those serving its insane dictator have not committed.
The world has seen Russian troops burn Ukrainian cities and villages to the ground. Everyone in the world has heard about the mass killings that inevitably follow the Russian flag across occupied territories.
It is impossible to reconcile with the pain of families torn apart by Putin’s war and the deportation of Ukrainian children. We must not forget the millions of Ukrainians who are surviving under Russian occupation, denied even the most basic human rights.
Let nothing stand in the way of justice! Just like Nazism was condemned, Putin’s state must face the same fate. I urge everyone who can help hasten the arrival of true peace.
This was my message to the participants of the US Helsinki Commission’s hearing on “Holding Russia Accountable for War Crimes Against Ukraine: Lessons from Nuremberg.” The meeting was held in the historic Courtroom 600, which was the site of the Nuremberg Trials for Nazi criminals.
Things that are happening on our western border, the border with Poland, cannot be considered normal or ordinary. A simple and clear justice is needed. Only 5% of our agricultural exports pass through the Polish border. So in reality, the situation is not about grain, but rather about politics. And near Kupyansk, close to the Russian border, where enemy artillery does not cease, news from the border with Poland seems outright mocking. We need common decisions, rational decisions, to resolve this situation. The decisions made by us and the Poles, first of all, and by everyone in Europe who cares about the fate of Europe.
