Caanta @unidosdevilaisabel!!! 🌽🧡💚💛 Today I’m honoring the samba school Unidos de Vila Isabel, founded in 1946 in Vila Isabel, the northern region of Rio de Janeiro, one of the birthplaces of samba in Brazil. In 2013, the school brought the Brazilians who live off the land in the countryside, with the theme “The Village sings Brazil, the world’s granary – Add more water to the beans, another one has arrived.” This theme crowned the school as the champion of that year’s parade. It was a genuine harvest celebration, with the corn being one of the protagonists of the parade. I drew inspiration from it for my today’s costume! Pt nos comentários
