Anthea Turner Instagram – I always bang on about IPL to fade and remove pigmentation marks, and sunspots around this time of the year because it’s the best time to do it while you’re all covered up so I’m just re posting what I said last year as it still stands. I’ve worked hard for the last 4 years to make mine fade down or disappear completely using IPL Intent Pulsed Light. This procedure targets the damaged skin cells with multiple wavelengths of light heating them, breaking them down thus allowing the body to naturally dispose of the damaged tissue. My thoughts on the effectiveness of IPL are all in this piece so if you have time and its something that’s bothering you take a listen. I always advise you do your do your homework ask friends and research local clinics. Machines have come a long way since the early days but still only as good as the person in control. I as you know use my local Aesthetic Clinic @bodyvie_mediclinic and have done for over 20 years, machines are their business and the one they use for pigmentation is by a UK manufacturer @lynton_lasers I’ve also stuck doggedly to one therapist there Bhumika who over the years has given my marks hell, played the long game and won. There are creams on the market but they can never achieve what these machines can although after they are good to keep everything at bay.
