Clea Shearer Instagram – Tomorrow is a big moment in my cancer journey! After 1 year and 8 months, I’m finally able to have my reconstruction surgery 🩷 I have been waiting for this day since my double mastectomy on April 8, 2022. There is no closure when it comes to cancer, but this is a big step forward in healing. Thank you for all your continued love every step of the way!

Clea Shearer Instagram – I had my post-op visit today, and the good news is that I’m healing really well. The (I won’t even say bad news, because once you’ve had cancer, bad news takes on a new meaning) not amazing news is that I will need a follow-up surgery in the next few months. My doctor had prepared me that this was a probable outcome, but you always hold out a little bit of hope that mayyyyybe you’ll defy the odds. This was my 4th surgery since I was diagnosed, so getting a 5th will just round things out. And if I need a 6th, well, it’s an even number. And if I need a 7th, it’s a lucky number. I’m just so thankful to be healthy. And it’s a good week for that! 🩷 xo, Clea
