I recently had the opportunity to attend & speak – alongside #SonnyHostin and many others at a historical event at The White House… We honored and saluted the Afro-Latino Community, our contributions in media and entertainment, and the importance of representation. It was an incredible and emotional evening to see and be seen… To feel the warmth and the power of showing up for each other when in so much of our lives… we have felt invisible and ignored. As Black History Month comes to a close, remember that WE are the realization of our ancestors’ wildest dreams.
