Grace Helbig Instagram – I rang the bell today!!! Radiation is finished! Though I didn’t know it came with a poem that you read out loud before you rang it. Which is an appropriate way to close out treatment since I didn’t know anything about breast cancer or chemo or radiation or this whole fever dream of an experience before it happened. And even getting to the “end” feels weird in a new way since this IS kinda what I know now. Go figure! But here we are *waves chaotically* ringing a bell at the end of our radiation treatments. How amazing and also what the FUCK was that??? 🙃 This last year has been a swirl of contradictions….chaotic and inspiring, scary and encouraging, a clusterfuck and also an individual fuuuuuck. But, I’m really proud of myself. And so very thankful for the great family and friends and medical humans that helped so much. And I know I’ve said it a bunch already but thank you for all of your support. Wow, has it been more helpful than you might know. 🙏🏻 Now, onwards! I think. Right? Yes. What do you do when you’re finished with cancer treatment? Should I go to Disney? I already went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch and that was cool. Hmm. Much to think about. Anyway, great day.
