Hera Hilmar Instagram – Whales are vital to the health of our global oceans and play a critical role in the oceanic carbon cycle. Over 75 international organizations and individuals have signed a letter urging the Icelandic government to end commercial whale hunting. This further protection for Fin Whales, the second largest whale on Earth, would allow these whale populations to recover, creating a positive impact on climate change.
We celebrate the support of everyone who is taking a stand to help protect Icelandic whales. Together we can make a difference in protecting biodiversity and our oceans.
