I am truly inspired by the amazing Stella. She is just one of the incredible women I met in Uganda who are working to change the trajectory of their lives.
Stella started her own restaurant and it’s thriving. She sources ingredients from local farmers and every day her place is packed with locals who need a meal.
Stella is a single mother of two who’s involved in World Vision’s savings groups. These groups empower women to work together to get ahead. Since there are no banks near them that they can easily access, these women team up to create a fund they can borrow from and invest in. This has been incredibly successful for women like Stella.
Women supporting women is what I am all about and Stella is creating positive waves in her community. I just loved witnessing it!
