Man lives in a mind dominated world, where the mind is in the drivers seat, and we sit with our hearts in the back of the bus not even knowing where we are, what we are, much less who we Truly are. This creates so much waste, suffering, cruelty, stupidity, pollution and destruction. I wish we could wake up to what we are. Repost @drsteveboyes It’s MAD, “Mutually Assured Destruction”. In our madness, we want pleasure without pain, wealth without poverty, health without sickness, action without effort, output without input, knowledge without learning, knowing without experience. Detached from reality, tired and worn out by worry and anxiety, we live on the edge of extinction. In striving to make the world a better place, we have done incalculable damage to Earth’s ecosystems. Compelling ourselves by law to be superficially good and healthy has manifest more problems than solutions.
