In addition to being a brilliant, visionary couturier, @manfredthierrymugler was a beautiful photographer. He photographed this Vautour Velours look worn by Claude Heidemeyer
in 1987 on Discos Bay in Greenland. There was no retouching. Mr. Mugler waited til the light was just right and this iconic photograph was created. I am so truly humbled I got to wear this bit of fashion history from my personal collection on the @peopleschoice awards #RedCarpet last night.
