Lisa Whelchel Instagram – My man is romantic in a million ways but he refuses to celebrate Valentine’s Day on principle. I, on the other hand, have no such principle preventing me from gushing about him on this “man-made, commercially-driven, Hallmark-card-selling” holiday. Because of him, I am happier than I have ever been in my whole life (and that is saying a lot because I’ve had a very happy life!) He takes such good care of all of me but especially of my heart. (Although, my stomach is a close second since he’s the cook in the family!) Yes, my sweetness, I am not going to declare my love on a particular day just because someone decided today was the day…but February 14th is as good a time as any so – I love you deeply and dearly. Thank you for being who you are and choosing to spend your life with me.
