Really been working on my skin lately and wanted to share what I’ve been trying, tossing, and then possibly incorporating into my daily routine. I love beauty and skincare so much so I’m always open to new ideas, products, and technology!
✨ Trying ✨
• Eye cream for the first time ever! As I get older the skin around my eyes is thinning and needs moisturizer. My fave so far is @biossance squalane eye cream
• TRYING and failing to find a spf eye cream for daytime that doesn’t sting my eyes. I’ve been looking for a SPF that doesn’t sting and leaves a nice finish for years and I still have yet to discover my most desired, holy grail skincare item.
• @nira_skin Laser is an at-home laser I’ve been using for about 10 days now to tighten up my upper eyelid area and reduce wrinkles underneath my eyes. The before/afters on the site are incredible so I’m hoping for nice results!
😭 Tossing 😭
• Harsh topical retinol products like tretinoin. I think with more/improved laser tech going mainstream we may start to move away from really harsh skincare for the face. I see amazing results from medical grade lasers at my friend @philiplotfimd plastic surgery practice for evening skin tone and reducing wrinkles and my skin doesn’t tolerate tretinoin so I’m tossing it and replacing with high tech treatments.
✨ Incorporating ✨
• I got some tiny ice globes to reduce puffiness around the eyes and I love them so much I’m incorporating them into my daily routine!
• @skinfixinc dermatitis facebalm is such a soothing and calming balm that I’ve been loving during the colder months and while I do allergy immunotherapy, so this one wins a spot in my beauty cabinet!
• Aura and Cool Touch Lasers are medical grade lasers for skin; I’ve been going to the doc for treatments every few weeks since summer and I’ve seen the biggest transformation in my skin color, texture, etc! I’m a laser girlie forever now.
Recipe is up and soup 1 of 52 is here! I’m going on a ✨ quest ✨ to make a different soup every week in 2024. My motto in ‘24 is Consume Less (a resolution of sorts) and cooking at home more often is a big part of that. I want less, not more this year. Less takeout, less plastic, less mindless online shopping, less mindless social, just … less. Italian Wedding is up first for NYE (I knowwww I made it in 2023 but it still counts, ok). 1 down, 51 to go. What should I make next? Recipe is up on my substack (link in bio) in the 52 Soups section! #ConsumeLess2024 #52soupsthisyear
When I started to share my health issues with the world back in 2016 I never imagined as a result I’d end up in a room with the likes of Selena Gomez, Patrick Ta, Gucci Westman and power players like Walmart and Amazon. But, that’s what happened today at the @wwd #BeautyInc Awards.
Not only did I have the honor of attending and hearing from so many shining stars of the beauty world, we joined the ranks of past winners by earning the award of BRAND OF THE YEAR in the Wellness category.
My original vision for Love Wellness when I started this company was to make caring for health issues that have been stigmatized innovative, enjoyable, beautiful, fun, effective, and simple. As a beauty lover (my friends and family literally called my childhood bathroom “Lo’s Beauty Palace” and would schedule “appointments”) I dreamt of daily self-care solutions that would make me feel the same type of excitement, hope, and joy that my favorite lip gloss would. Joy from a vaginal suppository? YES!
The entire @lovewellness team (a mighty 40) puts everything they’ve got into this incredible brand. We do it for women who love the brand, people who have no clue who we are/what we do but may benefit from how the education we share influences broader awareness on how women’s bodies work, and for future generations of kids who have the opportunity to think and feel differently about their bodies from a young age.
Thank you @WWD for the incredible support, to our customers, to our retail partners @walmart @target @ulta @amazon for taking a chance on us, and to all of you who have helped make Love Wellness the Wellness Brand of the Year.

A delicious daily breakfast (bc we know it’s so important to get your fuel for the day) that’s a new spin on cottage cheese toast: sourdough (naturally low gluten), lemon curd orange marmalade, whole milk cottage cheese, strawberry slices. Result is a balanced meal high in protein, some carbs, and fiber! Also, pls ignore my bed head. Xx

We are beyond grateful and honored to announce that we were named @wwd’s Wellness Brand of the Year 💜
When @lobosworth started the brand in 2016, her original vision was to make caring for health issues that have been stigmatized innovative, enjoyable, beautiful, fun, effective, and simple. Since then, we’ve created an incredible community (you all!) of women who believe in this same mission.
Thank you @wwd for the incredible support, to our community, to our retail partners @walmart @target @ulta @amazon, and to all who have helped make Love Wellness the Wellness Brand of the Year ✨
