“Stopping is the basic practice of meditation. You stop running. You stop struggling. You allow yourself to rest, to heal, to calm.” – Thich Nhat Hanh
We’re all so busy. But you must make an effort to take time for yourself. It will make you a better person to everyone you encounter, especially yourself.
We all came to say goodbye 💔
Love you forever friend, till we meet again 🕊️ 👑
Nothing, just me beating up my friends on #TheFamilyPlan. Sometimes it’s too much fun to be the bad guy. Thanks partner in crime! Love you! @michellemonaghan So happy that so many have had a chance to watch @applefilms
My main accessories are usually dirt or dog hair, but I can get fancy too! 💃 I don’t shop often, but when I do, it’s mainly vintage pieces I love that feel right for me! Throw it BACK. Rodney and David at Church let me take over their vintage rack and play dress up. Pick friends with taste 😂 In my case, friends with the CRAZIEST perfect taste ever 😍
I can’t believe how many years I have been able to work with the AMAZING Animals Asia. It’s been close to 20 years since I discovered their mission and what an HONOR is has been to fight alongside them. This recent trip to Vietnam to open the newest sanctuary that will house the remaining bear bile farmed moon bears was a touching moment indeed. When I started with them this practice was legal. Now it has been made ILLEGAL and the remaining few hundred bears who live a life of torture will be brought here to heal, rest, and live the life intended for them. I was able to name Phoenix after she was rescued from many years in a cage. Dumped on a construction site, the lock that imprisoned her sits on my desk. Now she eats bananas and condensed milk and has been given a second chance at her relationship with humans.
As flawed as we are, in what we put animals and other people through… the other side are those who work to fix all that. You make the world a better place @animalsasia

Home. The feeling of home is one I’m so blessed to have in Hawaii. It’s a restorative feeling. A time to reflect, and fill up. Time on my farm and with the dogs are really my place to do that.
I’m so lucky to have this place, but I think we can be intentional about cultivating a sense of home too. Even if home for you is not where you grew up or not your related family, that doesn’t diminish home’s power. When you’re choosing people, places, and things to live with, cultivate your home.

I’ve heard if you just say “please!” really nicely then the plants will grow. We’ll see! I’m using this little pot outside my greenhouse to grow cilantro, oregano, and rosemary. For the cilantro, I dig down a quarter each, space the seeds a few inches apart, then cover them make over with soil. For the oregano and rosemary, which need light to germinate, I just loosen the top soil and spread the seeds on top!
