Honoured to have hosted the illustrious Ms. Mita Vasisht as part of our ‘Actors on Acting’ series at NSD, Delhi!
In an insightful session moderated by Syed Mohd. Irfan saheb, Founder Producer and host of ‘Guftagoo’ on Rajya Sabha TV, Ms. Vashisht shared her journey and expertise in the realm of Indian cinema and television. What started out as a discussion, turned into a Masterclass in no time, with Mita ji exemplifying Natyashastra acting techniques with Irfan ji as her co-actor!
With an impressive repertoire spanning numerous films and television shows, including her memorable roles in “Chandni,” “Taal,” and “Ghaav: The Wound,” Ms. Vasisht’s contributions to the industry are truly commendable. Beyond her on-screen work, she has been a visiting faculty at esteemed institutions like NSD, NIFT, NID, WWI, and as Head of Department – Acting at FTII.
Organised by the NSD Students’ Union, such sessions are invaluable for aspiring actors and seasoned thespians alike.
