I never texted in for a radio shout-out before and I probably won’t again, but I grew up listening to Steve Wright on the car radio (mum’s favourite) on our way home from school every day. He was so warm. I couldn’t resist texting in on that day – and then didn’t even know he read the text out until Max’s mum heard it on her car radio driving home and phoned to tell us – a full circle moment.
