While my dad has never boarded a plane and my mom’s air travels are rare, my childhood dreams were always grandiose and fueled by a desire to explore beyond my upbringing… I recognized the importance of hard work for expanding opportunities.. I believe in periodically reflecting on life’s journey to maintain self-awareness.. there was a person who had a significant impact in expanding my immediate world view… A regular diner at a restaurant where I worked [2008] he would often emphasize the significance of traveling.
