Patrisse Cullors Instagram – What we do with our trauma, and how we heel from it is vital as we rebuild a more equitable society. I’m a non-binary Iranian immigrant, a brown person in Venture Capital and a founder in the beauty world in AMERICA; resilience is my middle name!! Every room I’ve entered has told me I am in the wrong place, but guess what?? I MADE it my place. During this conversation, I told Patrisse that after years of therapy and work, I now view my trauma as a superpower. Something that gives me a leg up in these spaces! Now as a society, we have to look to the collective trauma we are experiencing and work together to make it our collective superpower. Take this shit we’ve had to endure because of the pale-stale-males in leadership and build a world that takes account of our trauma and lived experiences to create a new reality! Let’s get this shit cleaned up!!
