Due to the confusion, hysteria and abundant misinformation out there regarding this dystopian nightmare of a ban, I’ll be doing a Live tomorrow Sunday 7th at 3pm GMT with one of the co-founders of @uk_dog_protection_team to cover the landscape and implications of the XL ‘TYPE’ ban that went into effect as of Jan 1.
We will discuss the ramifications on dogs and ALL UK dog owners. And cover the facts the media are deliberately leaving out of their limited coverage and how best to navigate if you feel your dog comes under threat of being seized and potentially terminated.
What it means to be the guardian of any kind of breed of dog but especially these larger kids.

Dragons and Unicorns acclimating beautifully…
Just some snippets of the last week to show how Ludo and Auberon our ‘killer Bullies’ are blending into our pack of dogs and 36 horses and foals, wildlife, rivers and massive temperature shift.
Not one snap, growl, lip curl or hair on end…. From anyone…. (Except from Miss Mushroom when Aubie tries to hump her… cus shes so damn cute 🍄 )
Only curiosity, initial excitement and bewilderment at all the new sights, smells and sounds….
This is not coming without daily work but 70% of the work is done by the fact a)they are both incredible dogs and b)our family here is already stable, loving, clear and consistent.
Cant tell you how much sweetness (and slobber) these boys have brought to the lives of everyone they have met so far…
and just makes my blood boil and heart break to think the UK government wanted them dead. Shame on 🇬🇧 🏴 and anyone out there pro this ban and archaic tarring of brush.
They both would be dead had we not intervened. Like thousands of others who weren’t and wont be so lucky.
We all did a pretty spectacular thing making this happen so again thank you to all who chipped in… the kids are more than alright they are phenomenal…
And to all our rascal pups and horses who are the best teachers of the lot of us we love you all more than butter and spuds!

Last night at midnight, Lucky 6 were placed in their pen awaiting their future.
They dont know it yet but every day from here-on-in they will roam pastures, climb mountains and sip from fresh water streams together and live a life free of pain and subjugation as all horses should…
With our collective efforts yesterday we managed to pull –
2 Mares
3 foals (2 male/1 female)
1 adolescent male
Two will require castration, 5 will need fattening with alfalfa, they all require vaccines,antiparasite meds and hoof care, and two are completely raw so will need basic ‘taming’ as will be tough to handle (but its the young wild ones that rarely stand a chance and we didnt want to see the slaughterhouse take anymore.)
We managed to push the price up on several others, too high for the meat market thankfully, but for now from what we raised and what we need for their care ahead this is what we could justify.
So, to EVERYONE who contributed, I hope you feel warmth in your hearts for being part of their journey.
We/they can not thank you enough.
We’re on 3 hours sleep and off to collect them with the truck as we speak…
