He never leaves my side, has never wandered. No ‘Six Dinner Sid’ is he…he’s as loyal as a dog. My teenager can’t remember life before Oscar. This cat kept me company though night feeds when my daughter came along and I was on my own. He is the murderer of mice, squirrels, crickets and carp. He may bite you. He is my closest confidant. When seemingly simple tasks overwhelm me, I’ve learned to ask for support. ‘Body doubling’ is when someone just keeps the you company as you do the task and take that load off.
