What @hinducollege_125 means to me cannot be explained in mere words ..
For a girl from a conservative family, Hindu was a place where everything was irreverent, rules only existed so you could question them and make new ones, the grass was meant to lie on and look at the sky, the canteen a place for hot debate and classrooms a place make friends for life while learning from some of the most ego-less professors who challenged us to challenge them, their methods and come up with new ones ..
The college freed up my soul and gave me much more than an English Honours degree .. it gave me imagination and wings ..
I am ever grateful to the spirit of @hinducollege_125 and each professor who gave us their time, heart and learnings ..
Raising a toast to the best of the best @hinducollege_125 along with my dear seniors @vishalrbhardwaj @rekha_bhardwaj and juniors @imtiazaliofficial @roshan1970 @writish1 @shivpanditt @rajeshkumar.official @ash4sak @krantiprrakashjha and so many many others who love #hinducollege with their souls ♥️

The last time I felt this way was after seeing #asgoodasitgets ..
But then this is an #alexanderpayne film! He also gave us #sideways and #aboutschmidt and #election so it’s isn’t wholly a surprise, this feeling of having your heart expanded while you feel a deep loneliness ..
The Holdovers is brilliant in every way .. the performances #paulgiamatti @davinejoy @dominic.sessa are sublime, the music a charming unobtrusive score, the cinematography set in the 1970s vintage portrait look, absolutely stunning .. but what is its absolute triumph is its writing by @davidhemingson .. a caustic, hilarious and heart warming character study of loneliness and unlikely friendship ..
It isn’t a surprise that the film is nominated for 5 @theacademy awards ..
