Emma Watson Instagram - Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time. I think a journalist once said it was irritating how many times during an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started counting… BUT I DAMN WELL KNEW!!! And still know.

I am proud not just of what we as a group contributed as actors to the franchise but also as the children that became young adults that walked that path. I look at my fellow cast members now and I am just so proud of who everyone has become as people. I am proud we were kind to each other that we supported one another and that we held up something meaningful.

Thank you to the fans that have continued to show their support well after the last chapter closed. The magic of the world wouldn’t exist without you. Thank you for fighting to make it such an inclusive and loving place.

I still miss the crew who made these films all the time. Thank you for all of your hard work too - I know your contributions sometimes get overlooked.

Happy 20th Anniversary Potterheads! We hope you enjoy the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts which will stream New Year’s day, Jan. 1 on HBO Max. ⚡️ Lots to look forward to. 😊

Emma Watson Instagram - This is 33. Holy moly. Before 29 I hadn’t even heard of a Saturn Return as a concept. Let’s just say that now I am well acquainted. 😅🪦⚰️🧟‍♀️☄️🪐🪂💥💣🌋
I stepped away from my life - I learned to surf (badly),🏄‍♀️ I rode some horses (🏇that went better), I did a lot of therapy (YESS 💪😍 therapy!). My brother and I joined forces @renaisspirits. I adopted Sofia in Mexico, who seems to be an angel not a dog 👼. We filmed a Harry Potter reunion⚡️. I said goodbye to my Grandma and Grandpa. I retraced my steps. I started a women’s environmental investment fund 📈. I played Pickleball with @sugarrayleonard and I even played golf and then tried to make all of my girlfriends learn too. I cut my thumb nail off on both hands trying to cook for myself and then was only able to do things one handed for months 🙈🔪👩‍🍳👋. I felt really sad and really pissed off about a lot of things. I learned more about love and being a woman (💃❤️ ). It took me three years but I have finally figured out a daily practice and can actually keep it for more than a few days in a row. I burned some things down 🏙🔥🧯 . I eat green things now 🌱 ! I got obsessed with making Squarespace websites. I directed my first commercial 🎥.These pictures were actually taken on my birthday last year, but I wasn’t ready to come out of my Covid Cocoon. Today I feel 🦋🦋🦋🦋Thank you to the witches in my coven who were so pivotal in helping me arrive at where and who I am now. ❤️🧙‍♀️,🌻,🧜🏽‍♀️, 🥷, 🦌,👁, 🌸, 🦉,🏜,🥋and 🌹. You are my Avengers and you inspire me and kick ass. It takes a village, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. And lastly - thank you to my brother @alex.s.watson for helping me find the most challenging things, with time, incredibly funny. Thank you @jessicaediehl - I’m obsessed with you. 😂

Emma Watson Instagram - 🖤 Thank you for protecting our forests and trees! 🖤

The women pictured here were part of the Chipko movement, a non-violent social and ecological moment by rural villagers, particularly women, in India during the 1970s. Here they are protecting a tree from government logging.

The Hindi word Chipko, means to "hug" or "cling to", reflected in the demonstrator's primary tactic of embracing trees to protect them from loggers.

Emma Watson Instagram - When Prada asked me to be the face of their new fragrance campaign, I asked if I could direct it.

Months later, and I'm able to share the results of the faith they shared in me, with all of you.

I can't wait to share this piece of my art, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

I could never have done this without my unbelievable team of collaborators. Thank you for your time, commitment, talent and passion.

Emma Watson Instagram - "The reason I've been enamored with the term 'renaissance' {in 'feminist climate renaissance'} is because so much of the language around how we talk about climate has been war metaphors. We're going to fight it. We're going to defeat it. We're going to battle climate change. As opposed to 'renaissance' - which has this dual implication of being artistic and creative, but also being about rebirth. That is the way I want to think about our opportunities and our responsibility in shaping the future."

Emma Watson Instagram - For my 31st birthday, my birthday wish was to get to go to Apricot Lane Farms after watching the documentary "The Biggest Little Farm." I thought I was just going to get a tour and couldn’t believe it when Molly came out to meet me on a golf cart! Nothing about the day disappointed. Both Molly and John were every bit as kind and inspiring in real life as I dreamed they would be. Getting to be on the farm gave me the hope that I may too one day build my own little paradise like this and maybe even have my own pig. 😂 Thank you so much again to John and Molly for your hospitality, warm hearts and your inspiration.

Emma Watson Instagram - Tonight's full moon, known as the "cold moon" comes with perfect timing … and this witch is excited ⚡️
It invites us all to reflect rather than manifest, stay present rather than spring to action, and shed unnecessary habits rather than seek new hobbies. Also, it arrives right before the winter solstice which is all about introspection. So for this lunar moment - exhale all the bad sh*t and inhale the new and good that is to come! It's almost a brand new year. By pursuing connection, the light and warmth will show itself in the dark and cold of winter. And who knows! Maybe tonight something magical awaits you.

Emma Watson Instagram - “I’ll be here until this shoot is iconic!” promised Emma Watson on the set of her Wonderland cover shoot. Emma Watson Instagram - Despite the grand scale of this commercial, this vignette may have been my favourite. An intimate scene of me & the mirror - I wanted to capture the rare moments during the day you have when you get to look your own self in the eye.

Emma Watson Instagram - VIll

Labour is blossoming or dancing where
The body is not bruised to pleasure soul,
Nor beauty born out of its own despair,
Nor blear-eyed wisdom out of midnight oil.
O chestnut tree, great rooted blossomer,
Are you the leaf, the blossom or the bole?
O body swayed to music, O brightening glance,
How can we know the dancer from the dance?

Emma Watson Instagram - I say this with no exaggeration, there is no doubt in my mind that we witnessed a piece of history at @cop26uk in Glasgow. I would feel honoured to be in the presence of just one of these women individually (they are all actual superstars who are quite literally making the world a better place) - but to be with them altogether - was almost overwhelming. I felt a bit like I was in the presence of the female Avengers assembling before The Battle of Earth!

However, as I have spent time with them over the last few weeks, I've realised they are also just ordinary women committed to taking extraordinary steps, for the better... So in these next few posts, I will introduce them by giving you the extraordinary and the ordinary, because it’s important you know that they consider everyone that cares about this issue - one of them and I have seen that in real time. They really believe it’s not individuals like us that can change things - it is small, synchronized actions and changes we make together en masse that can change the world. ♥️

"Climate Avengers take on COP26!

Amidst all the noise and activity of #COP26, there was one event that really stood out for me. Young climate leaders gathered from around the globe for a surprise session The New York Times’s bewitching Conference of the Trees, to discuss the future of leadership in the climate movement.

They exposed the systems and circles that place too much emphasis on single, iconic leaders, and not enough on the benefits of more diverse and well-distributed leadership models. We have been blinding ourselves, it seems, to the value of true representation, which simply cannot be borne from a single figure, no matter how charismatic. Leaders’ who are BIPOC or who have disabilities are often denied the recognition that ‘famous people’ receive by default. Does the climate challenge need celebrities, or diverse and inclusive voices to secure a fair and healthy future?

The speakers condemned a widespread refusal, in our societies, to recognise the power of collective leadership, highlighting a tendency towards divisiveness, misrepresentation and exclusion. On the contrary, they argued: collective, coalition-led leadership is most conducive to the intersectional thinking that the climate challenge requires.

Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate, Malala Yousafzai, Tori Tsui, Viviam Villafaña, Daphne Frias, Dr Mya-Rose Birdgirl Craig D.Sc. h.c. and Dominique Palmer made it clear that they want their messages shared and spread - not fetishised and attributed to a single climate mascot on the global stage. We need urgent and radical systems change, they concluded. We must not let ourselves become overwhelmed by the many challenges and difficult conversations ahead. We must draw upon each other’s strengths, find our inner Avenger, and do what we can, together. Because everything we do is enough, so long we’re not acting alone."

Emma Watson Instagram - From speaking to friends of mine who are front line NHS workers, I was shocked to hear the following statistics —

“The covid-19 pandemic has increased the level of burnout in trainees and risks reversing recent improvements to their workload and wellbeing, the General Medical Council (GMC) has warned.

Of the 46 793 trainees in the UK who completed the annual national survey (a 76% response rate), 33% said that they felt burnt out from work to a high or very high degree, and 43% found their work emotionally exhausting to a high or very high degree.”

Dear friends,
We are asking you to join us in signing a treaty to end the expansion of Fossil Fuels. The link to the treaty is in the bio. Please sign it. Please share it. Please read the slides provided that further explain what it is.

And then hopefully, like us, get righteous about it. Get angry about it. Let it break your heart. Let it motivate you. Let it inspire you to action. Because what we are asking you to participate in is a non-partisan issue. It is in fact a universal issue. It is the loss of our home. It is the loss of our futures. There is no one person immune from this problem.

It does however, affect everyone in different ways. It is unfortunately an issue that must be SYSTEMATICALLY changed, because those who are without resources cannot afford such a transition on their own. There is just only so much we can do individually. But what we can ALL do to help - is start here.

Join us in adding your name to the treaty.
Your voice is powerful.
Our voice is powerful.

“Our addiction to fossil fuels is pushing humanity to the brink. We face a stark choice: either we stop it - or it stops us. It’s time to say: enough."
- UN Secretary General António Guterres

“We are currently on track for at least a 2.7 C hotter world by the end of the century — and that’s only if countries meet all the pledges that they have made. Currently they are nowhere near doing that.”
- Greta Thunberg

"I hope you can appreciate that where I live, a 2 degree world means that a billion people will be affected by extreme heat stress. In a 2 degree celsius world - some places in the global south will regularly reach a wet bulb temperature of 35 degrees celsius and at that temp, the human body cannot cool itself by sweating... We don't believe you. We don't believe that banks will suddenly put trillions of dollars on the table for climate action, when rich countries have struggled since 2009 to raise the money for the world's most vulnerable countries.”

Emma Watson Instagram - The prep & planning that went into this process was surreal. But what was even more surreal were the moments like this - watching the playback and seeing my vision realized. X

Emma Watson Instagram - We took the gin, the dog and some really fly @Loewe clothes on holiday to do a first tasting of Renais with our nearest and dearest. We loved sharing it with all of you. 🥺 please get in touch if you would like to distribute us. We’d love to get Renais further around the world. 🌎 Happy holidays everyone. Love E + A (& Sofia 🐶)

Emma Watson Instagram - "We’re a community dedicated to the protection of oceans, waves, beaches and wildlife. We fight long and hard to protect what we love and we won’t stop until it’s completely clean, safe and protected for everyone, forever.

From humble beginnings in Porthtowan Village Hall in 1990, we’ve stayed close to our roots and continue to be based just up the road at our St Agnes HQ where we can keep an eye on the sea.
Just 20 of us work in the office full time, but it’s really thanks to people like you who support our work through membership donations, volunteering, signing petitions, buying from our shop and spreading the word that allows our impact to be widely felt.

We're helping over 100,000 people each year to clean up their local area.

We're campaigning for clean water, an end to plastic pollution, recovery of the ocean, and action on climate change.

We're highlighting the connection between global climate change, how this impacts the ocean, and how the ocean can play a key role in tackling the climate crisis." - Surfers Against Sewage

Emma Watson Instagram - ‘Antarctica's Thwaites glacier is known as the "Doomsday glacier," due to the serious risk it poses during its melting process. It has dumped billions of tons of ice into the sea, and its demise could lead to irreversible changes throughout the planet.

The glacier, which equals the size of Florida or Great Britain, already accounts for about 4% of annual global sea level rise, loses roughly 50 billion tons of ice each year, and is becoming highly vulnerable to the climate crisis. The fall of the ice shelf could bring the impending collapse of Antarctica's critical glacier.

"We can't really do anything to stop this from happening," besides slowing it down, Peter Davis, oceanographer with the British Antarctic Survey said. "The way that we've gone with our carbon emissions so far has caused these changes to occur — and essentially, we're taking the consequences of what we've been emitting over the last couple of decades, if not longer."’

Emma Watson - 8.7 Million Likes - Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time.

Emma Watson - 1.9 Million Likes - For my 31st birthday, my birthday wish was to get to go to Apricot Lane Farms after watching the documentary "The Biggest Little Farm." I thought I was just going to get a tour and couldn’t believe it when Molly came out to meet me on a golf cart!

With a heart full of warmth and nostalgia, I am thrilled to introduce - Renais Gin @renaisspirits It is an ode to the sun-kissed vineyards of Chablis where my family has been making wine these past 30 years. Renais Gin is our love letter to Chablis; a carbon-neutral product, lovingly made from upcycled wine grapes.
I’m having a proud sister moment. @alex.s.watson

Emma Watson - 1.4 Million Likes - Tonight's full moon, known as the "cold moon" comes with perfect timing … and this witch is excited ⚡️

Emma Watson - 1.1 Million Likes - “I’ll be here until this shoot is iconic!” promised Emma Watson on the set of her Wonderland cover shoot. A comment that speaks volumes to the hard working and dedicated nature of the 32-year-old who spent 8 hours at our cover shoot - eventually plunging into a rippling pool - attended Brown University alongside acting and now, has directed Prada’s new beauty campaign for Prada Paradoxe fragrance. Much like a paradox - a person or thing that combines contradictory features or qualities - the multidisciplinary Emma Watson continues to break expectations.

Covering our Autumn/Fall 2022 issue, celebrating the launch of her directorial debut with the @pradabeauty new refillable perfume, actor and activist Emma Watson speaks to the cultural historian of the Middle East with whom she studied at Brown, Dr. Shiva Balaghi, about the multiplicity behind the woman she has become and how this project came to be.

Emma Watson - 0.9 Million Likes - I say this with no exaggeration, there is no doubt in my mind that we witnessed a piece of history at @cop26uk in Glasgow.

—From Sophie Lambin, @solambin

Greta Thunberg, Vanessa Nakate, Malala Yousafzai, Tori Tsui, Viviam Villafaña, Daphne Frias, Dr Mya-Rose Birdgirl Craig D.Sc. h.c. and Dominique Palmer made it clear that they want their messages shared and spread – not fetishised and attributed to a single climate mascot on the global stage. We need urgent and radical systems change, they concluded. We must not let ourselves become overwhelmed by the many challenges and difficult conversations ahead. We must draw upon each other’s strengths, find our inner Avenger, and do what we can, together. Because everything we do is enough, so long we’re not acting alone.”

Emma Watson - 794.9K Likes - From speaking to friends of mine who are front line NHS workers, I was shocked to hear the following statistics —

Emma Watson - 666.3K Likes - ‘Antarctica's Thwaites glacier is known as the "Doomsday glacier," due to the serious risk it poses during its melting process.
