Gary Sinise Instagram - With the families of our fallen heroes for our @garysinisefoundation Snowball Express Annual event as they depart to the most magical place on Earth, Disney World. We’re taking over 1,800 family members, the children and surviving spouses. It’s always an honor to wrap my arms around them and remind them we do not forget their hero. Gary Sinise Instagram - 13 days ago, America lost a great American hero, US Navy SEAL (ret) Silver Star recipient Mike Day. Mike was shot 27 times in a gun fight in Iraq in 2007 and I had the privilege of visiting him in the hospital shortly after. Just an amazing guy. We stayed in touch over the years and on my first visit to Little Creek it was Mike who showed me around. His book Perfectly Wounded: a memoir about what happens after a miracle is a powerful read. My heart goes out to his family, his teammates and all who knew and loved him. God bless you Mike. It was an honor to know you. Thank you for serving our country. R.I.P. my friend.

Gary Sinise Instagram - 28 years ago today, Forrest Gump hit the box office. I was honored to play the wounded Vietnam Veteran, Lt Dan Taylor, and represent so many of our wounded veterans who selflessly served our country. And today, 28 years later, it’s an honor to help “the real Lt. Dan’s” through the @garysinisefoundation. Much like my character in the movie, these heroes suffer not only physical wounds, but invisible ones. I believe we can never do enough for them.

Gary Sinise Instagram - Truly honored to uplift the spirits of our wounded, their families, and the incredible hospital personnel at our 9th Gary Sinise Foundation Invincible Spirit Festival at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Today’s Lt. Dan Band concert was part of a 2-day series, yesterday performing for the troops at Naval Base San Diego.

I can’t thank all of you who support the Foundation enough for your incredible support. Seeing their smilies, and often emotional healing tears, is what it’s all about!

Gary Sinise Instagram - On February 10, our friend, WWII veteran Teddy Kirkpatrick passed away at the age of 99. Teddy and I became pals when we first met years ago at the National Memorial Day parade in DC (pictured here). We were talking and I noticed he was wearing a jacket that said 8th Air Force 379th Bomb Group. My Uncle Jack served in the same B 17 bomb group and turns out they knew each other and had flown together. Teddy was the last surviving member of the 379th. A remarkable man who lived a very full life.

An honor to know you Teddy. Thank you for serving our country saving the world from tyranny all those years ago. You will be missed. God bless you my friend. Rest in Peace. #salute

Gary Sinise Instagram - Hey folks, it’s Daytona Day! I had the great pleasure of being the honorary starter for the 56th annual Daytona 500 back in Feb 2014. A memory I’ll never forget. Congratulations to Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and all who raced today.
Gary Sinise Instagram - Yesterday, October 1st, 2022, US Army Spec. Bryan Dilberian, passed away. I am deeply saddened by this news and send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Bryan served his country with great pride and on July 1, 2011, while on a routine patrol in Afghanistan, he was severely injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) losing two legs and an arm. On April 27, 2012 I had the great honor of playing a concert at Brooklyn College to help raise funds to build him a home. I will never forget his sacrifices for our country. God bless you Bryan. #RIP

Gary Sinise Instagram - Today marks the 53rd anniversary of the launch of the Apollo 13 mission to the moon. Ron Howard directed the 1995 film and I had the good fortune to play astronaut TK (Ken) Mattingly along with a wonderful cast. Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the making of the movie, including some of our fun at Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama. Great memories I’ll cherish forever, and remembering the great Bill Paxton. I hope you enjoy!

Gary Sinise - 11K Likes - Truly honored to uplift the spirits of our wounded, their families, and the incredible hospital personnel at our 9th Gary Sinise Foundation Invincible Spirit Festival at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Today’s Lt. Dan Band concert was part of a 2-day series, yesterday performing for the troops at Naval Base San Diego.

I can’t thank all of you who support the Foundation enough for your incredible support. Seeing their smilies, and often emotional healing tears, is what it’s all about!

Gary Sinise - 10.9K Likes - On February 10, our friend, WWII veteran Teddy Kirkpatrick passed away at the age of 99.

#salute

#RIP
