We burst on the screen, unlike anything that had ever been seen before. We were different, loved, hated, controversial, honest, authentic...

What a journey! Most of my stories never told. A lifetime of standing in front of the world. A legacy of work, charity, public tribulations and personal connections. Both a witness and a participant to groundbreaking history, still fully discovering all the reverberations.

Mine is a face, name, and voice you know. Working and representing hundreds of other talented creative artists I was lucky to call peers and coworkers. I honor them daily. Always uniquely aware and compelled to celebrate their contributions.

Blessed not just to watch the world change, but often be an active participant. Raised with talented, chaotic, complex, and loving forces of nature. I've been building, learning, growing in real time before the world.

Thank you to everyone who shared a stage. To those who helped shape me. To the carnies who raised me. The business that forged me to dream and use my voice. Most of all, to every person who let us in their home to share the journey.

Maybe we made you laugh, cry, rage, question, or simply shake your head. At our best, in our true humanity, we connect and change together.

I'm still just getting started...
My love and appreciation to all who connected with me on this journey over the last 35 beautiful years.
Ready to share my stories, demonstrate what I learned, and leave my own echoes

Michael Fishman Instagram - With the strike finally over, I can finally thank and honor people properly. Just before the strike, I had the honor of paring up with Summer in a Lifetime movie Abducted by My Teacher: The Elizabeth Thomas Story.

Initially, the role repelled me, with apprehension as an Actor and father I took a deeper look. It centers around important conversations of grooming, manipulation, and naiveté.

It had credibility with Elizabeth Smart on the producing team, but this character was literally the type of person I used to take to jail when I worked fugitive recovery. A giant departure from who I am or roles I had played. I love acting, so the challenge piqued curiosity. I consulted my daughters. With their blessing, I dove in.

What I have been waiting for most is to thank our production team and crew! My time in Winnipeg, surrounded by incredible people, reinvigorated me in ways beyond words. I can not thank you all enough. I loved our time together, having the honor to share a set.

I especially want to highlight and thank: Director Shawn Linden, whose vision guided our story, master cinematographer Greg Nicod making every frame beautiful. Producer Juliette Hagopian who knows how to get films done while feeling familial. Producer Howard Braunstein for investing in me.

I worked with a truly amazing crew who each deserve their own explanation, if not their own post. Sharing time with you all forever changed me. To Diane & Roberta for the support in the chair. Thomas & Chris in sound who knew when to silence me. Our grips building our day. Guy, for a ride when I needed it. Bo for shared knowledge. Camera operators, Martin & Pedro, who got every shot, uplifting me in each frame. James & Jacob in focus Alexis & Skye in props. A long kayak walk on a beach, laughs shared. Brenda, Kelly, Kristen & Erin in wardrobe. The whole set decorating department. Jen for running lines. Our amazing electrical. Our PA's and Ad's!

May you all know how much your contributions matter. Each of you made a lasting impact on me. Sending you digital love, unparalleled respect, care and support until we share a set again.
(Forgive the tardiness of this praise, it came as soon as I could.)

Michael Fishman Instagram - Sometimes you have to let go of preconceptions. Release the life you thought you were meant to live. Let the earth erode beneath you to begin again.

Ego seeks to hold on to who it believes you have to be. The ego of others will want to remind you of your past for their comfort in familiarity. In those moments embrace the change. Let the old you wash away like sand on the beach. Waves of change smoothing and reshaping your soul into the present.

Michael Fishman - 1.4K Likes - With the strike finally over, I can finally thank and honor people properly.

Caption : With the strike finally over, I can finally thank and honor people properly. Ego seeks to hold on to who it believes you have to be. The ego of others will want to remind you of your past for their comfort in familiarity. In those moments embrace the change. Let the old you wash away like sand on the beach. Waves of change smoothing and reshaping your soul into the present.
