I was graced with the incredible good fortune to meet @pele. In my early twenties while working In Italy I worked at the VIP section of one the exclusive clubs. Pele was in Italy on a speaking tour and came through the club after. Being the only two Black men in the club we ran toward each other like long lost brothers. Though we did not speak each other’s language we sat together with our hands clasped for the entire night. Words did not need to be said for the incredible amount of pride and respect I had for this man. I closed off the VIP and was both happy and honored to serve this legend who had served the world with his talent, grace and humility for decades. Obrigado ! Pele the King ✨🙏🏾✨

Too many of our stories have been ignored, forgotten and untold. Between the 1960s – 1990s, tens of thousands of Nigerian babies and children were fostered to white working class families in the UK by their Nigerian parents in an effort to have them survive and assimilate into British society. This was a practice known as “farming,” which is the namesake of my directorial debut film. #FarmingMovie documents my journey as one child who went through this process. This is our forgotten Black history. This #BlackHistoryMonth, learn about the stories of the thousands of other farmed children and encourage the government to make this a part of the school curriculum as it shaped the way the UK is today. It was a life changing experience that resulted in me doing an incredible table read for the press and critics of the script I wrote for #FarmingMovie at Sundance UK. With their support I was able to take Farming to the silver screen, becoming my directorial and screenwriting debut (which you can watch stream on @primevideo!) I am so very proud of this film and thankful to Sundance for the opportunity to kickstart my journey in turning this idea into reality. In my profession as an Actor, I have done many movies and a good amount of them action, which require rigorous training before and during the filming. We would use the standard sports brands to work out in, but none of them truly catered for my shape, physicality and style – they were functional at best. So I decided to take it upon myself and design my own high-end athleisure line with the trifecta of comfort, durability and opulence. Looking forward to sharing it with you all! Education was extremely important in shaping my life. Though it was hard, I am beyond grateful for the sacrifices my parents made in order to provide me an opportunity for higher education which played a role in how I approach the art of acting.
