Aksel Lund Svindal Instagram – Downhill skiing can be a brutal sport, and today was a tough reminder. Watching @akilde go down hard right after talking to him at the top of the mountain. I almost felt like I was back in the game. Fingers crossed that the injuries aren’t too badš¤. And lots of respect to the SwissšØš fans. They had the unstoppable @marcoodermatt leading the race, they were singing and celebrating. But as soon as Kilde went down they stopped the party and hoped for the best as the medical crew came to help out. Sports are brutal, but also beautiful. And today the fans here in Wengen really impressed me. Thank you! And last but not least Mr @adriansejersted skiing down into 4th place right after watching his team mateš³š“ crash like that. That’s mental strength š
