Here is a picture of closing night in Vancouver on the 30th. I am still reassembling the pieces of my brain and recovering from our most ambitious and artistically successful tour yet. I will have a lot more to say once I’ve processed what we just pulled off, but for now here are the major headlines: I am so grateful for our incredible cast and crew who each bring so much love and light to make this production come to life. I am so incredibly grateful for my co-producers @gus_lanza and @thekevinheard whose passion, hard work, perseverance, and belief in the importance of queer art allow us all to keep singing and dancing through hell and high water. And I am so grateful to have found a sister witch in @thejinkx …What a rare and beautiful gift to find yourself in a partnership bigger than the both of you, more powerful than the sum of its parts. Each year our friendship grows deeper and stronger and so does our work and so do we. OK those are all the words I can squeeze out for now. I’m going back to sleep.
Final night of my whirlwind NYC queer theater rampage was spent ROLLING IN THE GD AISLES at this baby genius’s incredible @ohmaryplay – @coleescola is one of the genuinely funniest humans on earth. Their brilliant script, their take no prisoners performance, @pamstinkleton ‘s pitch perfect direction, the entire cast, the production and costume design… EV-REE-THING make this a show you cannot/should not miss. Ok bye NYC!

Saw @jackiecoxnyc absolutely KILL IT in @mmgorgeousnyc last night- her performance is SO funny and tender and nuanced and, well, gorgeous. If you’re in NYC catch her unlike you’ve seen her before in Make Me Gorgeous before it’s gone!
