Still cannot believe I was performing on stage alongside THE ICON and my favourite drag queen @sashavelour 🎨 I performed one of the most contemporary pieces I’ve ever done with the talented @aaronwatkinson7 I remember watching Sasha on their season when I was in university and said if I were a drag queen I’d be exactly like them. This marked the opening of their instant photography concession in the biggest @primark in the world in my home city, Birmingham! I decided to not just give the influencers my creative advice but also challenged myself by turning up in a look I made on the morning of the event using black and white photo prints. These prints were of my favourite memories in drag that I’d captured on my smartphone, and I plastered them all around me with red tape and vinyl. I had such an amazing evening and felt like I was in my element, being able to share my creative tips and tricks and lend an artistic eye to inspire photo print creations. I’ve always been a sucker for taking lots of great photos and I always try my best to capture some of my most special and treasured memories. 🎥 BTS – JUST BEAD IT! Look 6 – Wearing a custom beaded leather black dress made by @malonfashion for the @ju_nna_ SHOW. This dress has been an idea I’ve had for years now where I can incorporate wooden and glass beads that remind me of my grandparents beaded curtains in Jamaica and also back home in St.Maarten back when I was 5-6 years old. I was always fascinated by the sound it made when I’d walk through kinda similar to beads in braided hair. This dress took hours and hours of hand-beading and is actually as heavy as my body weight but Lord she’s stunninggggg and feels like an armour!
