Three years ago, I had Cesar’s TCW class listed on my bucket list…and now, I have been to three of his classes!
Some people might think dogs go to the DPC to learn, but dogs are instinctual creatures, so it’s really the humans that are there to learn. It can be hard, even frustrating at times, to learn to stop habits that don’t serve you (like keeping tension on the leash), but remember that we don’t create habits overnight, so it can take time.
If you’re open to growth, you can learn a lot about yourself from Cesar and the amazing trainers that partner with him. It takes a village to raise kids, and dogs, and Cesar’s village is truly phenomenal.

“It is the whole atmosphere of the DPC…the peace and tranquillity which to me is a vacation… plus the people who I meet there… I know that I can contact any of the wonderful people that I have met there and can always count on them to listen to my problems…. This is where I can be myself.
And the people they’re always happy to see me, it’s how are you what’s new what’s going on there’s never really a bad interaction with any of them. I’m extremely proud to be part of the Training Cesar’s Way family.
I have learned many lessons I’ve learned about the importance of the three C’s which is being calm confident and consistent. The one thing I have learned from Cesar is that every dog is different. There is no definite way to train dogs because you have to train the dog in front of you and what works for Foofoo will not work for Fido, you have to learn to read the dogs and control your energy.
These are two of my favorite pictures of myself in Cesar but I have so many after being there this time in Florida will be my 7th time taking a fundamentals course.”
