Had a great time seeing the legendary #TonyCondello at the premier of our new documentary #TheDeathTour at the @slamdance_filmfest today in a packed theater in Park City! I’ve known Tony since he first booked me in Winnipeg in 1991 and it’s incredible to have had the opportunity to work on this movie together! The crowd enjoyed it and I was very happy with how it turned out…it really is excellent, moving, emotional & funny and I’m very proud of the film. Part of his prize were backstage passes to meet the band and the chance to join them onstage to sing their cover of #WithALittleHelpFromMyFriends! Even though I was accused of “hogging the mic” by my friends in the audience (who me?😜), It was an amazing night that I still vividly remember! The only drag was all the pix I took at the show that night, didn’t turn out when I got them back from being developed at Bigelow’s pharmacy (remember those days, kids?). I was soooo sad! But I made up for it some 34 years later when I booked #KickAxe on the second @jericho_cruise!! Still one of the best bands of the 80s, that should’ve made it so much bigger. (Thx to @deanomullin for the pix!) Pantages Playhouse Theatre
