We are providing the evidence-based tool of #TranscendentalMeditation to address the devastating impacts of trauma, stress, and violence among some of Greater Washington’s most vulnerable residents and neighborhoods.
Since launching The Meditation Center at THEARC in 2018, 479 residents of Wards 7 and 8 have learned this life-saving meditation technique, along with hundreds more throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
