I woke up seeing it was Steve Irwin’s birthday and I immediately welled up with emotion reflecting on his impact.
Steve Irwin’s boundless enthusiasm captured my attention as a young boy. I remember thinking to myself “that’s how I want to live my life, with that much energy and passion.”
Having the privilege to mentor and share such a special journey with his incredible daughter @bindisueirwin was one of the greatest honors and gifts of my life.
Thank you Steve for inspiring me and the world to live with passion, your legacy lives on through the hearts of so many. #teamcrikey
Made a fun little date day adventure for Valentine’s Day! Derek and I always spend a lot of time together, and even more so over the past few months.. But I really wanted to focus on the intention and meaning of the day — spending quality time with my husband (I’m still not really used to saying it 🫠) and being grateful for the unique and special love we share. ♥️
The day before our wedding we stood outside on a cliffside looking across the ocean when Hayley spotted a big spray about a mile out. I grabbed my drone and took the gamble to see if I could make it out to capture this stunning animal.
Battery almost dead and way out further than I thought. Suddenly the whale appeared.
