No actor wants this. The vocation itself is unpredictable and anxiety-inducing enough as it is. But here we are. The industry has changed, for better or for worse, but one thing is certain: our contracts need to reflect that. Support the Sag-aftra strike if you believe that film and television should be made by artists and craftsmen whose work is justly compensated, respected, validated. Period. No way around it. Anything else is a waste of time.
