Aaand here’s the engine for the AE86 Corolla: A #TeamToyota 3UZ Lexus V8 on ITBs! Some of of you guessed the motor when I first posted about the car – well done! These photos are of a first mockup and the plans are as follows: – @kelfordcams (medium spec for good torque, factory pistons and retaining VVTi, 264 or 272 degrees duration) – @mywireshop ultra nice custom race harness for MaxxECU, with new double TPS connectors, OBD-port, etc. – @pmcmotorsport adapter kit and flywheel for ZF transmission – @tenacimotorsport 240mm clutch and sprung disc for great driveability and reliability – @xat_racing S65 ITB adapters – Custom press fit ITB velocity stacks from my Uruguayan friend @fernandomontero_oficial – Underdrive powersteering and alternator setup using parts from UZ mastermind @hughesracebuilt – @eneosusa Street 0W-50 motor oil, which is also what we run in Formula Drift The engine itself was sourced by my friends at @garage_d_official and it’ll be fully built by my friend @dag_johnson using OEM parts from @toyota_norge. @maxxecu tuning by @jonusracing and fab work by @vtssolutions. Really excited for this build!

The V8 Supra is starting to work alright. 9mm studs and 8000 rpm 🤝 We just did our annual Sweden trip with the @boostracefuel gang – three days of ice drifting with drivers & friends from across the world. Seat time, good hangs and rock n’roll 24/7! Amazing! #TeamToyota #HoldStumt
I decided to test the 3UZ V8 engine platform in my #TeamToyota Supra ice drift car! Thanks to @jonusracing, @vtssolutions, @hughesracebuilt and the partners involved for all the help here! Engine: 3UZ-FE factory block with @kelfordcams B spec VVTi cams, @maxxecu, @pmcmotorsport flywheel & adapter, @tenacimotorsport clutch, @driveshaftshop carbon fiber driveshaft, @knfilters intake, OEM @toyota_norge service parts and of course @eneosusa Racing Street 0W-50 engine oil. It made 306 hp on the hub dyno (350 flywheel) and it wants to rev to the moon if we didn’t cap it at 7800 rpm. Equal length headers would probably help the power a bit. Let’s see how it handles the sustained high rpms on the frozen lakes! (Trackside video by @torandersringnes)
Got Hunter and myself an early Christmas gift: A three car lift! This new addition to the storage unit is a good one… An @efmotoras F25 lift, which allows stacking three cars on top of each other. Perfect for 6 meter (20 feet) ceiling height! I’ll show you how we built it over the next couple of days. I think this setup is ideal for these @lagerseksjoner 72 square meter units that are so popular here in Norway. There’s also the F26 lift, for slightly lower ceilings.
