You never know who you’ll meet at a convention. Today in Stockholm I met one of my heroes. Here’s me trying to get my arm around Totoro. What an outfit! Took a year to make!!! #totoro #cosplaytriumph @scifiworld

The Highlands Part 1. Just back from another visit to Scotland. A fabulous night at Blair castle for the Keepers of the Quaich ceremony. As you can see a giant Quaich along with a giant haggis ( very rare to still find one in the wild of that size), and the wonderful Robert Lovie delivering a tremendous “address”. The video is NOT me shooting a haggis. The hawk is named Margo and thanks as always to @garancedore for making me look half decent! @thegleneagleshotel @blair.castle.atholl.estate

Enjoying a school camp with my youngest daughter and learning about geology. It might not look much but those shells embedded in that rock are 7-8 million years old. It definitely puts life into perspective. The larger rocks are the result of undersea volcanic eruptions before New Zealand even existed!! Cape Palliser also is home to a LOT of seals. I think this one was trying to tell me something. #nz #capepalliser #geologyiscool #hardrock
