Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes. While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself. I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace. This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient. I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety. We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences. I am thankful for the support of my family, friends, and fans during this time. It’s in challenging moments like these that the strength and unity of our community are most vital. Happy new year.
Self soothing through mild electrocution moments.
I had the pleasure of meeting Carl Weathers many times. He was a smart, elegant gentleman and an unbelievable athlete. Every time he was on screen, he dominated the frame with his presence and ability. I’m so sad hearing he passed away at 76. RIP Carl.
It’s been kind of a slow weekend with not much going on. I don’t cook like this all the time, but for lack of anything better to do, we ended up doing a lot of it. Mia now considers herself a master at making Focaccia! And Penna is the Queen of Brownies made while dancing. Mom, if you’re reading my Instagram posts up there in heaven, know your Chicken Parm is still the best 😌

You realize what unconditional love is as a dad when you don’t feel like doing things for your kids because they don’t seem appreciated, or teaching a lessons fall on deaf ears. You dig in and do what you know is right. I find that the struggle hardens my resolve to raise young ladies. My girls are a gift, but every level turns them into a different Devil!. For all you other single dads out there, never lift off the gas!
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday of the year. It’s a chance to let go of reality and embrace imagination and creativity. As a kid I’d canvas the same neighborhood dozens of times switching Costumes to hit the homes that had full-size candy bars. Penna just came running back to me, saying they had full-size everything! She showed me a big musketeers, a big bag of skittles and a full-size Hershey bar, and it tapped into the excitement that I felt for the same in my youth. The fun of Halloween doesn’t die when you’re a parent, it just transforms into the joy of Halloween with your kids.
Tonight Penna’s fifth grade class will read their memoirs from their time in their elementary school. So happy to know these other wonderful parents and see their kids grow up right alongside mine. Tonight could be a tearjerker, PENNA knows my buttons! Stay tuned 🤦♂️
